Site Administration: To manage the site, respond to inquiries and improve our services.
Renaissance645 includes a directory of community members that helps residents connect with neighbors. Participation in the directory is entirely optional and controlled by you.
When you create an account, no information is visible in the directory by default. You may choose which fields to display through your profile settings. Available directory fields are:
Name (your choice to show or hide)
Email address (your choice to show or hide)
Phone number (your choice to show or hide)
Profile photo (optional, your choice)
About Me bio (optional, your choice)
You can change these visibility settings anytime in your profile settings. Changes take effect immediately.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share information with third-party service providers who process data on our behalf as part of operating Renaissance645:
Supabase: Database and authentication hosting. Stores your account information and forum content.
SendGrid: Transactional email service. Delivers verification emails, notifications and forum activity alerts.
Cloudflare: Security, DDoS protection and content delivery network. Helps protect the site from attacks.
Anthropic (Claude): AI content moderation. Assists in screening forum posts for policy violations.
Vercel: Web hosting and deployment. Hosts the Renaissance645 website.
Each service provider processes data only as needed to provide their service. We have data processing agreements in place requiring them to maintain confidentiality and security of your information.
We take the security of your information seriously. Renaissance645 implements the following security measures:
Encryption in Transit: All connections to Renaissance645 use HTTPS encryption.
Database Security: Supabase provides row-level security controls and encrypted storage of sensitive data.
Access Controls: Only authorized Committee members with administrative roles can access member data and site settings.
Authentication: Authentication tokens are managed securely by Supabase and are never exposed.
While we implement strong security measures, no system is completely immune to all risks. We recommend using a strong, unique password and keeping your login credentials private.
We retain your information in accordance with the following retention policy:
Account Data: Your account information (name, email, unit number) is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account removal, we delete your account and associated metadata within 30 days.
Forum Posts: Forum posts and comments you create may be retained as part of the community record even after your account is removed. This preserves the continuity of discussions. We remove the association between posts and your account (making them anonymous) upon account deletion.
Backup Data: We maintain automated backups for up to 7 days for disaster recovery purposes through our hosting provider's point-in-time recovery system.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to:
Know: Request what personal information we collect, use and share about you.
Delete: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain legal exceptions). We will process your deletion request within 45 days.
Opt Out: Opt out of data sharing or sale. We do not sell your information, but you can request we do not share it with any third party.
Non-Discrimination: You will not face discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.
