Community Guidelines

How we keep Renaissance645 a welcoming space for everyone

Renaissance645 is an independent community forum built by residents, for residents. These guidelines exist to make sure everyone feels welcome and conversations stay productive. By participating, you agree to follow these principles.

1Be Respectful

Treat your neighbors the way you would want to be treated. Disagreements are fine, but personal attacks, name-calling and harassment are not. We are all part of the same community and share the same building. Keep it civil even when you disagree.

2Stay On Topic

Post in the right category and keep discussions relevant. Building Life is for daily living topics. Events and Social is for gatherings and activities. Building News covers building-wide updates. HOA Q&A is for governance questions. Marketplace is for buying, selling and trading items. Recommendations is for sharing trusted services and local tips. Lost and Found is for missing packages and found items. Open Forum is for everything else.

3Facts Over Rumors

When sharing information about building operations, HOA decisions or management actions, stick to what you know and can document. If something is your opinion or speculation, say so clearly. Misinformation erodes trust and makes it harder for everyone to understand what is actually happening.

4Protect Privacy

Do not share other residents' personal information without their consent. This includes unit numbers, phone numbers, email addresses and photos. If you want to reference a specific situation involving another resident, keep it general enough that they cannot be identified unless they have given you permission.

5No Commercial Promotion

This forum is for community discussion, not advertising. Sharing a recommendation for a local business or contractor is fine. Posting ads, affiliate links or promotional content is not. If you provide a professional service that might benefit neighbors, mention it once and let people come to you.

6Report, Don't Retaliate

If you see a post that violates these guidelines, use the flag button to report it. Do not engage with trolls or escalate conflicts. The committee will review flagged content and take appropriate action. Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent removal from the forum.

7Use Your Real Identity

All forum members are verified residents of 645 Front Street. Your name and unit number are visible to other members. This accountability helps maintain a higher quality of conversation than anonymous forums. Stand behind what you say.

These guidelines may be updated from time to time. The Renaissance645 Committee reserves the right to remove content that violates the spirit of these guidelines even if it does not explicitly break a specific rule. Questions or concerns? Post in the Open Forum category.
